- The Forbidden Lands:Â A seamless open world consisting of massive regions like the Windward Plains and Scarlet Forest.
- Dynamic Seasons: Each region cycles through three states: Plenty (abundant life), Fallow (harsh survival), and Inclemency (extreme weather events where Apex monsters appear).
- Seikret Mount: An agile creature used for travel. It features a weapon holster, allowing you to carry and swap between two different weapons during a single hunt.
New Combat Mechanics
- Focus Mode: A new tactical stance that allows for precision aiming at a monster’s wounds and weak points, leading to high-damage “Focus Strikes.”
- Power Clashes & Offset Attacks:Â New reactive moves that let you directly struggle against or parry monster strikes to create openings.
- Support Hunters: If playing solo, you can call for AI-controlled “SOS” hunters to assist you, or play with up to three other players via full cross-play.
